I bought this some years ago with the hope that the Kralik-like tadpoles indicated it was Czech but with nagging fears that the neck and rim would one day prove it to be Scandinavian. The deciding factors were its colour and low price.
Recently Charcoal posted a link to www.madforglass.com for Anne Landers. I too followed the link and there at 63 in the Kralik section was this vase. It had the same shape, colour, tadpoles and height. Admittedly it had added decor around the lower part of the body while this one is plain.
Thus I'm reasonably sure of its origins and its place on the Tango shelf is secure. You might be surprised at how often such links have helped me.
You might also notice that the tadpoles, though a good match in size, have not been applied directly opposite each other.
