This pretty little dish is 8.5" X 4.5". I don't know what it was used for, but I love it, and I can't seem to find the pattern name. Any ideas?

Not all their pieces had names, especially if it wasn’t part of a dinner service. You can try searching replacements.com using key word like Noritake poppies. I think it dates from the 1920-30’s, made for them by Morimura Brothers
Thank you Mary! I've looked everywhere for similar dishes but maybe this piece is destined to be a single.
Perhaps this is a celery dish? I've seen several of this general shape and size. Even an asparagus dish, perhaps. I collect Nippon and this shape is familiar to dinner services.
