tortoiseshell & silver bracelet

Tip find , think its not too old but a nice piece , the bracelet chain and both ends are silver the brown I think tortoiseshell as when held to the light you can see the same type flecks , the stripes across the brown catch the light line an opal and show in different colours,
ive put this as a bracelet because of the short chain but it could be part of something bigger or an anklet , it just doesnt seem right on the wrist ,
any comments welcome
