I just got this bottle recently and I am really hoping it is an original from 1960's. I was able to find one in Petretti's 12th edition pg 352, valued at 475$, hoping I got the same bottle. I know mine is not in excellent condition, and its missing its cap, but seems to be a very hard to find bottle. Considering how large this bottle is you would think you could find it easily lol, but pretty sure its a rare item. Most of these were prob badly damaged over the years, mine looks like it has been shot at with BB guns. Hoping someone can look over my pictures and confirm its an original, I was able to find a manufacture name inside the bottle. Picture 3 shows it but its hard to read, because my camera would not take a good picture of it. It says: "The Creative House Interstate Boochever Corp Fairlawn, New Jersey". Please let me know if you think this is an original I would like to hear from all of you, thanks in advance.
Great item Trevor. You're right, not many still around. I say definitely it is authentic, probably repainted. It had some green highlighting down the length of the bottle grooves and the trademark info wasn't painted white. Nice find!
Thanks Dave I only paid 16% book price for it, and since you also think it has been repainted, Im hoping to get it repainted again, back to the way it should look. I know a guy that does a really good job, just not sure how much something this big would cost.
I sent you some image files.
Thanks for the image files Dave
