    (1 item)

Pin on left: 1 1/4" red enameled shield with a 5-pointed yellow enameled star and 2 olive branches. Some sort of gold and blue line under the star and branches.

Pin on right: 1" black enameled top half of shield and yellow enameled bottom half. Center looks like a poppy or some other red enameled flower.

Pin backs on both indicate WW I era but I can't find anything online about them. These items were found in some family stuff and a relative was in both WWI and WW II. Thanks.

I've been waiting for someone to tell you what they were, because I only have a very good idea what they aren't. What I'm pretty sure they are not are American Army unit crests. The flower on the one to the right looks like a red Tudor rose, which might indicate Lancaster/Lancashire - so possibly a British connection (I don't know if you are writing from the US or UK). I wish I could be more help.
