Inherited from my grandfather. I'm trying to find information on this item. I believe it is one of the missing 5 of 15 produced. My grandfather was a superintendent on the NY Central and was giving the picture during a station renovation project.

Once again that is not something you see every day. Love that they painted the whole train length wise.

If your grandfather was with the NYC and given the train as a gift it might have been in conjunction with LaSalle St. Station, Chicago as it was used by both NYC and CRIP.

I have a print of the Rock Island Pearl Train can anyone tell me when they were printed? and how much it should be insured for? my father was a conductor on the Rock Island RR and it came out of the Rock Island Depot in Des Moines Iowa.
I believe the station master gifted it to my father.
