Hello everyone. I am just writing to let others know of what I found today. I was at a auction and bought a old mirror for cheap. I want to refinish the mirror and sell it. So as I took the mirror apart I notice that the board which was acting as the backing to hold the mirror in was not just a board but a painting print. Looking it up it is call C.P. Ryndal, Shady Nook. It looked like it was once a beautiful print but once I looked at it closer I noticed some idiot scratched a image of a person fishing in the lake and scratched birds in the sky area as well. It upsets me when immature people do things like this. I don't want to toss it but is there anything that could be done to it?

My wife and I also found a painting by CP Ryandal it is in very good shape. an auction house contacted me after I told them of my find and ask me to bring it in. I was told it was a print once before. but I found an article that stated he use turpentine and witch hazel mixed with his paint to give it that just finish look. any information would be great fully appreciated. tefferio@yahoo.com
