According to ehow, “Royal Standard” was the best-known trademark used (from 1949) on English china made by a potteries company called Chapmans Longton Ltd. This company was among the famous Staffordshire pottery companies, and based at Albert Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. Longton was a center of pottery making from the mid-1700s.
I think I found this set at the Camden Markets in London 2 years ago. I love the Camden Markets. I also bought a little jacket upcycled from different parts of vintage men's suits (like the cuffs, pockets etc) from the Markets but I don't think I can post it on this site because it doesn't fit the rules but it is made from vintage parts and I do so love it too!!
