Brass/Bronze inkwell with Brass Bat pen tray.

This is part of my bat collection. This is a brass or bronze figural bat pen tray with an attatched glass inkwell. The original inkwell cap depicts an owl, a bird, grapes and leaves. The only mark on the bottom is the number 1463 stamped into it. Similar pin trays were advertisement pieces for the Reading Hardware Co. of Reading, PA. They were made by the Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Co. and were made in brass, bronze and cast iron.
