      I love old house finds!

      Although Type 26 revolver production ended before WWII, yours definitely looks like it was refurbished for use during WWII. Markings indicate Tokyo Arsenal. Unfortunately production records were destroyed during allied bombing, but based on the serial number, estimated total production and years produced, I'm guessing yours was made before WWI. Nice find!
