Thinking of upholstering it with modern fabric, the wood is of excellent quality, it's just a little smelly and old.... I was wondering when it was made, and who made it, I scoured the internet, but can't find any useful info... :-( The chairs are covered with tweed, brownish. There are no labels on it, however, the bottom of the chair has a few markings on the wood in chalk, of which I included photos. Anyone?
