As vases go this is tiny, a mere six inches, but it has always been a favourite. The opalescent glass is ribbed and the spatter is a pretty mix of pastel colours. Rough pontil.
Would I be right in thinking that it is Art Nouveau?

How sweet! I have seen vases in the shape for forcing crocus bulbs (much smaller than hyacinth bulbs); maybe this was designed for that purpose, too. :)
I think you could be right, Michelle. Having looked, a crocus bulb wouldn't pass the narrowest part. Thanks :)
