    The two vases are exactly the same dimensions: 9.2cm bases and 14.8cm maximum diameter. The form of the feet on the first, bending out from the base, makes it appear larger.
    The smaller vase is neater - the tadpoles appearing to rise from the base - plus they are much more robust, judging from the damage to the 1st. The cemented brass top is marked H&SL.
