Male greyhound that was a hood ornament. Can anyone tell me when this dates to and what type of car it would have been on?

I would say it's from a Ford, 1934 through 36, even though broken, it still has some value to the Rat Rod car enthusiast.

This piece is no longer in my collection. It has a new home now and will be missed. The new owner said that this piece was actually mounted to the radiator cap and not used as a hood ornament??

On early cars the radiator cap WAS the hood ornament and were called mascots. '34-'36 is about the right era for this. I have seen the greyhound mascots drilled and plumbed to squirt water at passerbys ( I i'll leave it to your imagination where the water comes out).
