Found this in a attic while remodeling a old house. Cannot get the watch open to find any info. Any help to get it open or information on this American Waltham Watch Co watch would be greatly appreciated.

from the looks of it it appears that the face should unscrew from the case and the movement should swing out,.the ones i have in cases like that work that way,...pul out the stem like your going to set the time and the movement is hinged to swing free,..shouldn't be that awfully tight to unscrew,..steady pressure and it should come free,.if not hit a watch shop ,.they should be able to loosen it for free or pretty cheap anyway,..very nice piece ,.i need to sneak into more attics lol

No luck with that method either. Thanks though.
