This lamp is at least 70 years old. It is painted gold. Appears to be lead. Wondering if anyone knows anything about it, and what the chimney and shade would have looked like so we can try to replace them for my mom.
It's the first I have seen of this type very nice indeed.
Nice! Could it be made of pewter? I would call this a royal banquet lamp. They usually have a round spheric (ball-shaped) glass shade outside the glass tube. In your case, maybe a plain green or white shade without any pattern since the lamp itself is so decorated.
I have a lamp with the shade and everything its a little bit different but I'm trying to sell it are you interested?
