SEWING COTTONS BOX

This box was sitting on a shelf in one of my favorite thrift stores, I had seen it a few times and passed on it , until I was online and happened to see one similar on antiques road show , so I went back there hoping it was still there and sure enough it was , I purchased it and in all those days previously that I walked by it I never noticed the inscribed fortune game on the surface, it reads What Do Folks Say About You,Choose A Letter From A to P, and it has several fortunes all around the box under each letter,I believe it is from the 1800s , who refers to sewing thread as cottons anymore, the lid has a print of a girl and boy, that's seen better days ,but the inside label is beautiful ,Clark & Co. with an Anchor and the string hole has the ivory cover still intact.
