Please help! I purchased this sterling cigar lamp lighter, but I am having much difficulty in identifying the maker. The only marks that I can find are a 291 over a B within a circle, and a star within a circle. The B may be a face. I have two pictures, as one shows the star better, and one shows the numbers and letter more clearly. I would appreciate any help that I can get. Thank you; Greg

      ???

      Found this:
""""Pentagram in a oval is standard mark in Spain for solid silver of 915 fineness, used between the years 1934 & 1985. """"

      http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=32558

Not sure it this applies here as yours looks to be a PENTAGRAM in a CIRCLE

Thank you Collectors Weekly members! I had to quit my job four years ago to care for my tube fed son with severe cerebral palsy. I started selling on line as a last ditch attempt to continue caring for my son and keep our home. "Home" is the only word my son speaks repeatedly, as he never wants to leave it. Your information has helped us more than you know, to know how to describe items & optimize sales. Julius is thriving, and happy; After having many illnesses resulting in hospitalizations; Julius has been thriving in the four years that he has had the loving time care he needed. Thanks again for the unconditional help that you give freely.
