Heavy yellowy coloured glass.
Charity shop find.
Really don't have any idea of maker.

It is indeed 'a very nice thing!' It is Czech, Sklo Union, designed in 1962 by Rudolf Jurnikl and very tactile! It was made at both Nemsova and Rosice glassworks. It was in production for many years yours is in colour 40, citrin.
