This is a pair of rare vintage 1930s GP car Racing goggles. Made by well known E.P Meyrowitz. The frame is stamped France depose. I think these are from the 1930s but could be older. Don't know much about them or can't find much either other than that please help.
E.B. Meyrowitz.
Lindberg used his goggles while crossing the Atlantic in May 1927!

Mr Emil Bruno Meyrowitz was born in 1852 in Greifenhagen, Prussia. He emigrated to South Africa but opened three opticians in Paris, New York and London. He died in 1937. The firm he created used the griffin as its symbol. He patented a type of opera glass mount.
He became well regarded for the design of his own line of optical and medical products. The company has enjoyed the patronage of a famous clientele including Eisenhower and Churchill.
The name is still used today in Paris, London & New York.
