Hi, Nora - the answer to me is an unqualified "maybe". (either one) - what I think is that the blank may have come from either house (JH is a good possibility), but was decorated elsewhere - one of the many glass refineries in the area. I keep hoping that one day we will find one of these with an original label.

Hi There, Thanks for weighing in here. I came across this auction lot with green glass vase pair with similar lily flowers attributed to Harrach that was deaccessioned from a glass museum.

I agree with Warren in so much as I doubt either factory did the decorating, the blank, could be from just about any glasshouse really.

The piece you referenced in LA is really very different, and definitely is a Harrach piece. If you haven't seen both examples in person, you'd almost have to compare them in person to see the differences, which would be readily apparent (the LA Harrach vases are of a higher caliber).

Thank you for checking this out. I did not get to see the green Harrach pair in person and I have not handled enough Harrach to have proper benchmarks. I do see that in the photo of the green vases that the detail is built up gilding and not white enamel decoration like on my blue cobalt. So, 'Bohemian Cobalt Art Nouveau era blank glass vase that was decorated by a 'hausmauler' in the manner of Harrach and Josephinenhutte'...?

I think the painting technique on your vase looks really similar to the painting on a vase I just found! Quite "fast" done, but very nice, artistic and skillfully executed.
      Here is my vase:
