I have had this box for over 20 years. There is another young lady on here that has a similar box and i would love to know what it is. I have found another box similar that states its an Indian Dowry box. It doesnt seem that any antique experts know what they are/ It's shaped sort of like a pyramid. It appears to be handmade as the wood is not completely even but that might be from wear over time. The hardware looks old as well. There are small flat head nails on the hand tooled
