Just got this a couple hours ago.....Tee Hee
I LOVE IT! It is in Working order and weighs a ton! Faceted glass around the clock with kinda Art Deco looking numbers. Was told it was European (Russian?). Almost 8 inches tall so quite big. Think the base might be Bakelite. Trying to figure out the name on it: Maax, or Maak I think it reads in yellow. Will do some digging here!!

Here you go antiquerose :) I think it's "Majak" they must be using Russian writing that's why it doesn't look like a "j". Here's a link to a similar one on liveauction's site.
