coke.trevo…
(120 items)
I went to a antique show yesterday and got a couple items, that I prob should have not, because I need to be saving money for my coke machine lol. Both these items came from same seller and he gave me a deal on them I could not turn down. I am aware that both items are not originals, but I enjoy having both of them in my collection.
I was curious if either item has much market value? I ended up paying 70$ for both items was wondering if they are worth more than that? The syrup dispenser is very very hard to find the original, so hard that the repos have become collectible. If you check pg 353 Petretti's 12th edition you can see the original and repos listed. Repo's of the syrup dispensers were made in the 1950's as well as the 1980's. Mine was made 1998 and I know there was more made in the 2000's. The book says the repos can be worth 300$-500$ I was wondering if mine was worth any where close to that. I know its a newer one so not sure if its even worth what I paid for it. Either way I am still happy with both items, curious to hear your guys opinions on them.
Hey Trev, what's the rectangular item?
Hey Dave, I guess I should have taken better picture of that or atleast explained what it is. Its a napkin dispenser, but I dont think it was ever made by coca cola. Pretty sure someone painted it red and added decals. They did a pretty good job on it, and I like the decals, so I bought it. Still gotta buy couple bundles of napkins to fill it (can hold alot), but for now its sitting empty on my ice chest.
