I have just been cleaning my machine and its starting to look pretty good, just from cleaning it. I took a couple before and after pictures to show you guys the difference some soap and water can do.
I still got alot of work to do on this machine before its totally done, but I am making alot of progress. I manage to find someone who collects this type of machine and lives pretty close to me. I now got all the help and parts I need to complete this machine.
The door on my machine was badly dented and hinges were damaged, he told me he could sell me a better door for 80$. I figure I would spend atleast that trying to get the dents out and fix the hinges so going meet him today and buy it. For now I got the door taken off my machine and disassembled, hopefully tonight I will have a better door.
I admire that you can-do it yourself. I lack that gene. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Dave! I got really really lucky and met a guy who collects VMC 27, he had me over today and sold me a bunch of parts for my machine. I got sooo much info from him, he helped me fix my coin rejector and showed me how to take apart the door. I had to buy a new door, for my machine so now taking every little piece I can off my old door. Going hang my old door on the wall and call it a sign lol.
look's great keep up the good work ... redone my 1964 and my wd-12 cooler had a blast doing it good luck on you project ......... and I would like to give the guy you met a thumbs up for helping not many people will do it now days most are just looking to make money wish I could find someone up here like that
