This beautifully hand painted pair of cranberry glasses were painted in the Mary Gregory style, theyre 6" high 4" across and in A1 condition for a tip find !!! I couldnt believe someone could throw them away !! For £3 the pair I couldnt say no ;-) wot a bargain...
I dont know what sort of age they are or much else about them so any info at all is very welcome ..

You are right these glasses look to be painted in the Mary Gregory style and for what you paid, you got a bargain. They are not all that old however and don't have a pontil mark on the base, which the old ones did.
I don't think that they are glasses...probably "Show" vases (decorative vases). RER(BOB)

ive had them about 15 years and think theyre purely decoration as you say .. still lovely to look at and very nicely painted .. cheers
