GC do you have to do anything to stop these silver gelatin photos degrading?
      They are all so magnificent.

Hi racer4four, We had ours framed with museum quality UVA/UVB glass. It was a bit expensive but helps in the preservation of photos. We also have hung them in a location that gets indirect sunlight. So far we have had little to no degrading of any of our photographs. I hope that helps.

Thanks. I was wondering because we have some old family portraits that have degraded and have had to be copied for posterity so to speak!
      UV bad, dark good!

Just because you copied the originals don't disgard them! Who knows what technology and science will be able to do in the years to come. I wouldn't be surprised if someone came up with a process to restore photos to their original state.

So nice all together on your wall! That's what can be called "wall of fame" ;-)

HA! Now I have a name for my wall. When we lived in Dallas they were in the stairwell spread out a bit. At least we have 14 foot ceilings in NYC to stack! Thanks for the LOVE kyratango.

Love the one of Johnny. I was mad about him when I was little. Saturday mornings in front of the telly with Tarzan. That was living. ;o)
    15. GlueChip GlueChip, 11 years ago
Same here. Saturday mornings aren't the same without Johnny! At least we have Tivo that will record when one is shown to watch at our leisure. The same with Boggie and Dietrich. Dietrich is pretty funny in some of her movies, her delivery is priceless.
