    the only thing i remember about Wilhelm Baumann is that he worked in the Richard Uhlemeyer Workshop in Hannover.
    Wilhelm Baumann opened his own workshop. Short after
    i own a painting by Wilhelm Baumann as well
    these vases has been a part of a collection... unfortunately the other part with his vita and further informations about him has been bought by somebody else
    i haven't found any further informations in the web so far

      What a nice group of pots GTMOOM :) I have a pair of mystery studio pottery vases I posted a while back. It looks similar to the tallest one in shape except it's pushed in on the side. It has a "W" inside a circle on the bottom. I wonder if it's the same artist as these pieces ?? -Mike-

      hi mike
      i had a look at your 2 mystery pots
      actually i don't think that they're by baumann
      as far as i know baumann allways used a red clay
      and the clay of one of your mysteries is different
      i still have hundreds of not identified pots...
      hopefully you just have two ;-)

      Oh well thanks for taking a look. I love studio pieces,but boy are they a pain to ID !
