Here you have another Spanish vase from cica 1960. I love the African inspired decoration. In fact, Moloza was one those companies making vases and statuettes of African men and women.

Looking for images of Moloza pottery online I've just been able to find some really horrible stuff in a Rococo style... the kind of thing you want to forget about once you've seen. It's funny becayse that seems to be the usual ting with Spanisdh and italian pottery: you may find great, modern designs in the 1950s and 60s just to find out that in the 1970s they made some awfully conservative stuff... isn't that terrible?

      FANTASTIC!!
Now I've shouted that I will quietly agree with you. Like my Jema bull - the usual stuff from them was so old fashioned an unappealing. Maybe sales to tasteless conservatives were better than to those with adventurous taste!

Yes,racer, that's not unusual! I remember the furniture at my parents when they got married.. modern 60s stuff, beautiful tables, not great design but yes modern and yet solid stuff. My parents didn't have much money at the time, so it was a pretty normal kind of stuff. When years later (1981) they refurbished the house and changed the furniture, and we were sort of"well to do", the furniture wasn't quite the same in terms of modernity (nor beauty)... it was much more conservative (red leather sofas and so on... if you know what i mean). I am sure many of us have a simmilar experience.
