This is a vintage set of brass handled "nesting" screwdrivers. - Each of the smaller ones screw into the handle of the larger size complete with a knurled endcap piece. - Missing either the largest screwdriver or they also made these to screw into the handle of a small hammer. - Circa 1960's
- No brand name / handles are brass, drivers are steel - measures 3 3/4"
- - - - long complete, middle driver measures 2 1/4" long, smallest measures 1 1/4" long.
I have one of these. It's marked 4-in-1, and I thought one was missing. Then I found one more inside the smallest of the three shown. Check yours! (or maybe you are missing the smallest one
Some versions of this did come with a little hammer. I remember my grandfather always having one of these in his shirt pocket. He tended the one room school house and then the new school house when it was built (1950's) he repaired my glasses many times with his little one. You can still buy these at flea markets for $2 so if it isn;t marked that may tell a story.
I've got one of these. It had been my fathers and will someday belong to one of my sons.
lol...I have one of these too! Don't know where I got it from but I love it!!! Actually, mine is just a little different and has 4 flat heads. I'll try and post it right now.
Sorry agh, it's just not gonna happen...I went out and took the pics, when I tried to upload...I got nothing! I haven't been able to post for a minute now. I think I know what the problem is and I just have to reconfig a few things...but I'm glad I popped on and saw this. Been missing everybody too...
I have one of these…marked
