This is my lovely oriental bronze bowl on legs its 13" high x 13 1/2ish across , it was bought at auction a few years ago ..
it has a wavey rim with a sea horse in weed holding some sort of nut, shell or pot ?? inside shield type shapes around the top with what looks like chinese dragon faces with a trunk which make the legs, it has a lovely patina, there are no obvious marks visible and the bowl is in A1 condition, you can tell it has a bit of age to it and its very heavy , I know different creatures mean different things in china so it would be good to find out what they are??
All info & help will be greatly appreciated
Thanx nutsabotus6, it also caught mine in the auction , it wasnt til recently that I spotted the seahorse or shall I call it seadragon as I found out on an oriental website!
