I was invited to an estate sale. Well, actually neighbors were invited for a sneak peek at this amazing sale. The owner an antique dealer. I was not an actual neighbor but lived in the general vicinity. You get the picture. So I go in not knowing what to expect, and was blown away by the vast amount of everything under the sun stashed in this small home. I cannot begin to tell you of that “OMG!” “What have I stumbled onto feeling that ran thru this old girls body.”
So this was my pick, remind you that nothing was priced their was ONE lady running the show, and a group of pre sale pickers hitting the mother load. So we wait and we wait and we wait some more, to finally nail down a price from an overwhelmed Estate organizer, and above was my choice. And out the door I scurried. The chair is a Morris Style. It was recovered by the owner. It is glorious. The chair is solid oak and full of wonderment. Built beautifully, and such an amazing find. Note the detail on the arms. Yummy! A lone sticker resides on the bottom. It reads Columbia Chair Co. Portland Oregon. If anyone can give any additional info. I would appreciate it.
