I picked up this item with the intent to restore it to how it would have looked back when it was in use . I believe this pump was originally branded a Castrol pump going by the colour match from what is left on the base {Or BP}. Preferably I want to brand it as a BP/energol/gear oil pump but I cant find any information or pictures of one with BP style for an accurate job.... Castrol , Pratt's , Texaco etc. all used the same model of pump and those pictures etc. are readily available.... but I want BP
My father worked in BP Grangemouth Refinery all his days and I want to do a tribute restoration if possible.
I would be grateful for any info or pictures that could help me in this project and would appreciate it deeply.
The pump on this link has the base but is in color. It also has the original tag on it. There aren't any bids on it but then the price is way out of line.

I did see that pump in the link but it doesn't strike me as being "correct" Iv never seen that colour combo with bp stuff and the logo seems pretty stencilled compared to other older items ? I might be mistaken .Member; " visco-static" has one visible in his Bp collection that looks much more genuine but the angle of the photo doesn't give me a good look ! Thanks for the reply :)
It looks just like the one my dad had they used it on the natural gas motors that PG&E BACK IN THE 1920. 1930. cooper and brass. Clark's. I just went brain dead 4 other companies that invented motors to bring natural gas up out of the ground
