Bright golden metal, garnets or paste stones all around, green pastes for eyes.
No clasp, just expand with articulation to put it on.
Metal is not gold, but never tarnished, some good quality pinchbeck or pomponne!
Feel like Cleopatra when wearing it ;-)
1960's-70's. Pretty sure its not pinchbeck....
Thanks Stillwater for your comment. Don't think so modern, "garnets" are rosecut which was no more used cut at this time. For the metal, heavy, I think pomponne, french alloy, but not sure!
The rose cut was used from the 16th century until the early Victorian era, about the 1840's-60's, which it definitely isn't from. I can't really see much detail from your photos, but it looks like 20th century costume jewelry which took inspiration from Victorian and German garnet jewelry, using glass rose cut rhinestones. That type of articulated bracelet is modern too.
Sorry, Stillwater, I don't agree with you regarding the age!
For the type of articulated bracelet, see this one:

Same system!
I re-posted with better pics.
What a top snake bracelet mine is made of would it's surprising how many different types are about more than I ever thought.
If you google pictures for victorian snake bracelet, you would turn mad!!!
So many beauties... Specially love the pave set turquoises!!!
I love the way I spelt wood sorry
Lol! Would have you say wood? Or wool? ;-))
I must admit I don’t know anything about your beautiful piece of jewelry, but one thing seems to be clear: It is very well made and nicely designed. If it is not an old piece (to me it does look old) it looks rather like a high-end costume piece! In any case, it probably makes a big impression when worn! I love it!
kyratango after all this time I would say wood. Have a great day
Great piece....love it!
Thanks Moonhill :-)
Thanks Peasejean!
Looks Victorian to me. It has one of those non-agressive type faces you see on the Victorian snakes. Almost dolphins like. The stones look like bohemian garnets. Maybe?
Thanks for your comment Jewels1900!
I made another post with other pics, where stones are very garnet like (except eyes, green glass), and details are chased, not molded or stamped in my opinion.
Thanks Katherine and Toni for the loves :-)
