Greetings to all my fellow collectors and friends here at Collectors Weekly! I have been off the "grid" for the last couple of months, and have finally made it back to civilization. I hope to be able to start posting and commenting now that I am home. My last post was part of a set that I thought that I would complete to start the ball rolling! I have not added alot of information, but if you look at my last posting, it supplies alot of details that I did not want to repeat. This part of the item did not have a lot of information I could find, so any comments or information will be greatly appreciated. I also want to thank nutsabotas6 for posting his and reminding me of mine. Once again, I want to say that I have missed everyone and their collections. I have quite a few new items I will be posting in the future. Talk to everyone later on, and I hope you have a great Sunday afternoon! Thrifty

Very nice looking set. I wish I had the entire set but have only the knife. I never set out to collect knives but somehow ended up with about three dozen. When AR-8 was posting he was an enormous help researching them and teaching me how to and how not to care for them. At this point I am giving them all away but certainly learned quite a bit on here about collecting knives. Seeing what others have and learning give you a new appreciation for something you never collected. Thanks for sharing yours.

Thanks fhrj2 for the love and for stopping by. Glad you enjoyed my post. The only time I ever saw a set like this, I was in the USMC. I always have loved knives for as long as I can remember! I actually remember taking them to school for show and tell. I guess that wouldn't be such a good idea these days, lol! Thanks again for stopping by, and I look forward to seeing your post's, and sharing more of mine. Talk to you later, Thrifty

Unfortunately I never thought about collecting knives. Every time I would get one I just threw it in a box out in the shop and forgot it. A year or so ago I got a bunch of them in the bottom of a box I bought and that is when AR-8 guided me as best he could which I greatly appreciated. Now I wish I had taken the time to care for them. A lesson learned too late.

fhrj2, You are absolutely right. There are alot of items that I had when I was younger that I either didn't take care of or got rid of that I wish I still had. Iguess hindsight really is 20/20. Ithink now that I overcompensate because I want to buy everything I find, instead of being selective. I don' worry too much about buying too much, because my wife makes sure I don't go overboard. Good talking to you, talk to you later. Thrifty
