    I bought this in Metz France many years ago at an antique flea market.
    It is solid, nothing hollow. I don't know what it's made from but the detail would suggest Victorian to me. Anyone know? ever seen anything like this??? It's about 15 inches tall. I love it!!

      Are any hallmarks visible on the item ?

      not a one...nothing i can see on the bottom and i've looked all through the body...i can't imagine something being made like this and have nothing showing who/where it came from.....i love it though!
