    this was passed down and I don't have much info on it other than i think it was made between 1906-1920's . Adderley LTD in England. I don't find much info about this company...maybe i'm not looking in the right place. I have not seen another set like this. Does anyone know what the bucket is for? It still has it's handle...surely it's not a chamber pot...?? eww. This is a large lovely set i am happy to have displayed. Thanks Gramma! (she's German) :)

      You don't give any scale for size, but the bucket could very well be a chamber pot.

      oops sorry! it's a fairly large bucket larger than a standard bathroom trash can...lol..i sure hope it's not a chamber pot but in the early 1900's, i'm sure that was still going on in England... It's too pretty to "potty" in...lol

      I would soak it it a strong solution of bleach before using it as an ice bucket! Deep south? I'm originally from Anniston,AL but ain't got no aksent no mo.

      Fot Ruker eh! Went to aviation school in Ozark (I think?). Hey, getting late! Good people down there, are were in the 60's. Yu ain't flying any o dem dar whirley bards ar u? Actually, I've lived outside of the States for over 40 yrs but everybody loves my accent. If we can keep people to "collectables", this is a good site.

      Yes Ozark still has the aviation school. My husband is a Longbow Apache instructor here and i work on the aviation contract here..(Gov contract)....we were born in the 60's...ha! Yeah it's a pretty good place...i'm sure there's lots of changes since you were here. :) Hubby went to flight school in 89 here..
