Can anyone shed light on this chair that I got from my mother in law about 45 years ago. She was a collector of antiques.

Hi! Did you ever find out any info on this chair? I have a pair in remarkably similar style (same shape, rounded thin top/back, same feet etc, just slightly different posts and feet shape). I cannot find any info on them and am very curious! thanks!

Reminds me of the chunky Velvet velour furniture of the 1970's if I recall correctly.

Any thing at all --- On the bottom material or wood??

Hello, they do seem to have been re-upholstered at some time so I am not sure if what is there now is how they would have been originally or if it is from when they were recovered. But they have the old style webbing and spring construction in the bottom, then just the thin black fabric covering over that- which is deteriorating now. the cushions are very heavy and thickly stuffed not sure what is in there but def not foam! thanks.
