I purchased a hoarders estate and discovered this can in a bunch of 50's and 60's oil cans and decided I should save it from the tin pile. I can't find any information on it as far as when it was made and for how long. I haven't seen any pop up on Ebay or any forums that I have perused so far. Judging by the relatively sexist label referring to Women Drivers along with the handicapped I'm guessing its no later than the mid sixties. Does anyone have any info about Electro-Lite Industries and this can. The address on the can which I think you can see from the pictures is 333 Hamilton Blvd. So. Plainfield, N.J.. The label is in good condition but wants to fall off. I have not dared take the top cover off for fear of damaging it. I think the stuff inside was used a long time ago. It has a picture of a woman wearing a dress servicing her flat tire. The owner of the estate was a postal deliverer that retired in the 70's.
