Circa: Late 1800's
This is an original antique black mantel clock. It is not marked. There is evidence that there were 2 labels on the bottom of the clock at one point. The only markings that I could find is a "K" which is stamped on the front of the clock gears & it has "J7920B" on the back panel. It has a Waterbury pendulum as well as similar characteristics of other Waterbury black mantel clocks. The Waterbury Clock Company formed on March 5 in 1857 & they were in operation up until around The Great Depression.
The ends of the pillars, the feet, & the lion heads on the sides of the clock are gilded but much of the gilt has worn off over time. There are designs on the clock which are great examples from the Art Nouveau time period.
It measures approximately 10 1/2" (26.6 cm) tall, 16 1/4" (41.2 cm) wide at it's widest point (from foot to foot), & it is about 7" (17.8 cm) from the front to the back. It weighs around 10lbs (4.5 kg).
Great Clock! Love it.... Is it running?
Thank you. Yes, the clock runs great :)

I believe that I stumbled upon your clock model here:

It's identifed as the Waterbury "Denmark". I'm guessing it's probably circa 1910 give or take 5 years.
