Some of the old Heirloom Photos I have here. This is a family member on my (deceased) Mom side about 10 generations back. This Person and his parents immigrated from Lorraine-Alsacc area of France to Quebec. He became an important part of Canadian History. You will seen on the back of the Photo it was taken by an ARMY PHOTOGRAPHER.
Great to know I do have some *good roots*......LOL.....but the Years and Generations must have weaken them.

Yes, some of our Family History are in Archives in:
~ McCord University ( Montreal )
~ McGill University ( another university in Montreal )
~ and the University of Alberta, Canada
Yeah.....back 11 generations relatives on my Mom side had to do with development of Lower Canada ( Quebec ) when family members had immigrated here. Plus we are related to Laura Second ( yes the chocolate company that was named after her ) and she is important to Canadian History for the War of 1812.
Many family members ( from 11 generations back ) which is a long time to go back are buried in Mount Hermon Cemetery ( Quebec ) in family plot there. I was doing some genealogy on family roots a while ago -- still not done....LOL. My Mom was the one born out of that union of marriage ( the only one ) that carried this history gene
Kinda neat to find out those things.......
I have some old newspaper clipping, some old Photos, etc related to this family history
