I bought this little teapot many years ago in an antique store. The pot is quite small and for the afternoon tea it will hold tea enough for two people. It is marked ”Ye olde Dawenport” A.W L. England. There is also another vague mark that I first could not figure out.

After wonderful help from maryh1956 which made me find the right marks, I can now mark this as solved. The teapot was made by Arthur Wood & Son, Longport, England. One of the marks was used 1904-1928 and the other from 1928, so as this teapot has both of the stamps I guess it was made around 1928 but not later. So my lovely teapot is about 86 years old and I love it even more.

Under "North Staffordshire Pottery Marks" I see both the stamps. It also sais that Arthur Wood & Son was "earthernware manufacturer (mainly teapots) at the Bradwell Works, Davenport Street, Longport, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent".

Thankyou maryh1956 for your help and tip on the link which will be useful to me also in the future!

I believe it is Wild & Adams Ltd of Longton Staffordshire. According to the potteries.org, they were only using that name between 1909-27.
