Great curves!

I've come across a set of four of these chairs. They look like they could have been part of a game table set. I believe they're mahogany, with brass tacks surrounding the mustard-colored "faux?" Leather back ( seat is same material. There is a barely legible label with the numbers 2275 (there might have been another digit or two that got torn off." I would love to know more about these beauties, if anyone knows!
