Josef Originals Humpty Dumpty Salt and Pepper Shaker

For some reason, I'm taken by Josef Originals.

Humpty Dumpty Salt and Pepper Shaker is but 3 inches tall when put together.

It seems the company by Muriel Joseph George began in California, 1945-1962 in the garage of the couple. They became very popular and soon sent their designs to be made in Japan.

This shaker has the original black and gold label with a swirl indicating it was made in California.
