Thank you! Yes, I've found some info, including nose shape, to help with an era.. still have no clue :) for sure I like it, and so far that's what I know about this cameo

I would like to know the approximate age, and something you mentioned earlier about the pink gold setting...the material looks more like a gold than brass, but the back is very dark..and there is no gold stamp.. wonder if it could be gold?
      Thank you!

This cameo..is from around 1900-1915 and its Victorian....the cameo is a bit worn or faded..but that just shows it was lovingly worn..as is the etching in the mounting. The mounting looks to be gilt metal...meaning gold wash over a base metal. And these were made for export from I believe Italy......very nice.

      Thank you idcloisonne!!
      Thank you Lee!! :)
It is very beautiful...and fascinating to me, even thinking about a lady (or ladies) that had wore this...how she (they) looked like, what kind of life she (they) had, was she loving, beautiful...Just thinking about it and having the very same brooch in my hands is very unique feeling...I guess that's why I love vintage/antiques :)
      Have a Great Day!
