I just finished cleaning this beautiful brooch, hoping that it would reveal a maker's mark or silver mark but there is nothing marked on it at all. I know that it is old since it has been handed down through many generations but I have no idea about who could have made this, where and when. The enameled convex center-piece has been decorated with delicate flowers and the brooch measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" and I suspect that the frame is Silver. Anyone recognize the style or artwork on this brooch?....Thanks all, RER(BOB)

I'v had one like this, that was made in Russia, painted on porcelain.
Thank you Agram.m....I suppose that the Russians did not mark all their silver. Thank you also antiques-in-nj for the Love. RER(BOB)

All silver manufactured in Russia before and during the Soviet period (not so sure about the most recent times) had to be marked, but they also made a lot of the same designs in "melkhior" or German silver.
