We have inherited this in our family but have no record of its origin or age here in Australia. It has been described as a "Dutch" tea warmer, however it may be a description of the design on the platters and not its origin.
The tea pot is about 7" in diameter and 7" in height with a wooden handle.
It appears to be brass. The two platters, the largest 14" diam, have Dutch themes in the pattern - windmill and boat - on what appears to be a ceramic centre with brass surround. As it is a talking point amongst family and visitors, we would love to hear from anyone who can identify this and give us some further clues on age and origin. .Thank you.

      Welcome Ozman. Greta thing this!
Are you able to remove the platters and photograph their bases? Will be a big help for identification.

racer4four - thank you for your interest. The only marks I can find are:
the larger platter has a "2.." set close to and maybe under the metal rim.
The smaller platter has the number "17" in blue ink printed
at the side of the rim. Cannot locate other marks.
