I found this on a hut this past week thought it was so beautiful i couldn't pass it by. It has the cursive F in a oval on the bottom and also on the underside of the lid. I know this must be a fenton peice or a reproduction of some kind. After searching the Internet and going through the few books I have i have not been able to find this pattern. This is about 5 1/2 in tall and about 3 1/2 in wide.
you're correct; this is a highly reproduced EAPG pattern. The pattern was originally called 'Delta' when introduced by Higbee Glass in 1908; tho' the pattern is best known and recognized by the AKA of 'Paneled Thistle' or 'Thistle', based on the thistle included in the design. The pattern was reproduced by several companies including Fenton. Fenton started marking their glass with the "F in Oval" mark in 1971.
Thank u so much!!!
