My last item for today. This came from Salvation Army. It looks like a very nice piece of glass. Quite heavy for it's 5 1/2" diameter x 4" tall size. Just feels right to me. The bottom is very scratched and worn. You can see the wear from the top view, it looks like a white circle around the star burst pattern. So I believe it's old because of the amount of wear. The piece is divided into nine sections each with a diamond cross hatch shield and what looks like fringe on the bottom. No marks or labels. The glass itself is crystal clear and has a bell like ring when tapped. -Mike-

Do you think this once had a metal rim or lid Mike? Beautiful but somehow incomplete around the top.
A lid seems like a possibility. The wide band around the top isn't flat and smooth it has a dimpled wavy pattern in it. You can't see it too well but you can feel it. I almost thought it was a globe to a light fixture, but it's too heavy and there's the wear on the bottom from being pushed around on a table top. A curious piece -Mike-
This is beautiful, would look great with a Pewter potpourri lid

Hi Mike, the ones I have measure 3-1/4 and 3-1/2 inches in diameter. I'm on the lookout.
