I have a similar basket with no lid. It's 5 inches in diameter and 3inches in height. This basket has been in my family for over 100 years and has been passed from generation to generation. I know that it came from somwhere in Ohio but know nothing about it other than that. If you find anything about your basket let me know as they were probably made by the same tribe.
